The people of Noah cried lies to the Envoys 105 When their brother Nuh (Noah) said to them: "Will you not fear Allah and obey Him? 106 Lo! I am a faithful messenger unto you, 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 "And no reward whatever do I ask of you for it: my reward rests with none but the Sustainer of all the worlds. 109 So guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me. 110 ۞ They answered: "Shall we place our faith in thee, even though [only] the most abject [of people] follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a clear warner." 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 Then Noah said, "Lord, my people have rejected me. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 And We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then We drowned the rest (disbelievers) thereafter. 120 Surely, in that there is a sign; yet most of them do not believe. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
