Ghaafer 9 of 9
Allah it is Who hath appointed for you cattle, that ye may ride on some of them, and eat of some - 79 In them there are also other benefits for you, and through them you fulfil your heartfelt need (to reach places), and you are borne along upon them as upon the ships. 80 He shows His signs. How many of God's signs will you then deny? 81 Have they not travelled through the land to see the terrible end of those who lived before them? They were far mightier in both number and power and in what they had established. Their (worldly) gains were of no benefit to them. 82 When messengers came to them with clear signs, they revelled in whatever knowledge they had, and so they were engulfed by the very punishment they mocked: 83 But when they saw Our punishment, they said: We believe in Allah alone and we deny what we used to associate with Him. 84 Their faith proved to be of no benefit to them when they became subject to Our torment. Such was God's prevailing tradition among His servants in the past. Thus were the unbelievers destroyed. 85
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
