▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ I swear by the setting of the stars 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 Indeed, it is a noble Qur'an 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 Which none toucheth save the purified, 79 a sending down from the Lord of all Being. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then why do ye not (intervene) when (the soul of the dying man) reaches the throat,- 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why do you not, if you are not to be recompensed, 86 That you bring it back, if you are truthful? 87 Thus, then, if he be of those Nearest to Allah, 88 Then [for him is] rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. 89 And if he be of the Companions of the Right Hand, 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he be of them that cried lies, and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in hell. 94 Surely this is the truth of certainty. 95 Therefor (O Muhammad) praise the name of thy Lord, the Tremendous. 96

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
