The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

By the snorting runners (the horses), 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 Stirring up thereby [clouds of] dust, 4 which engulfs the enemy. 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And lo! he is a witness unto that; 7 And violent is he in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Is he not aware of the time when the contents of the graves will be brought out? 9 And all what lies in the breasts is opened – 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11

God the Almighty always says the truth.
