The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding back-biter, 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 (It is) the kindled Fire of Allah, 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 In extended columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
