SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 My Lord! then set me not among the wrongdoing folk. 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Repel evil with the best deeds; We well know the matters that they fabricate. 96 And say: O my Lord! I seek refuge in Thee from the evil suggestions of the Shaitans; 97 And I seek refuge in You, my Lord, lest they be present with me." 98 Until, when death comes to one* of them, he says, “O my Lord, send me back!” (The disbelievers) 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 Were not My messages recited to you and did you not reject them? 105 They will reply, "Lord, our hard-heartedness overcame us and we went astray. 106 "Our Lord! bring us out of this: if ever we return (to Evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" 107 Allah will say, “Remain rebuked in it, and do not speak to Me.” 108 "Indeed there was a group among My bondmen who said, 'Our Lord! We have accepted faith, therefore forgive us and have mercy on us, and You are the Best Among The Merciful.' ” 109 but you made them a target of your derision to the point where it made you forget all remembrance of Me; and you went on and on laughing at them. 110 Verily! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience, they are indeed the ones that are successful. 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 "Did you think that We had created you in play (without any purpose), and that you would not be brought back to Us?" 115 [KNOW,] then, [that] God is sublimely exalted, the Ultimate Sovereign, the Ultimate Truth: there is no deity save Him, the Sustainer, in bountiful almightiness enthroned! 116 He who invokes any other god along with Allah " one for whom he has no evidence" his reckoning is with his Lord alone. Indeed, these unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
