We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them both the Book that made (things) clear. 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And left (their remembrance) for posterity. 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers, who perform good deeds totally for Allah's sake only - see V. 2:112). 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
