But no; I swear by what you see, 38 as well as all that you cannot see: 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he had invented false sayings concerning Us, 44 We assuredly had taken him by the right hand 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 And verily it is an admonition unto the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed it (this Quran) will be an anguish for the disbelievers (on the Day of Resurrection). 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Tremendous Lord. 52
