Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And the winds that blow violently 2 and raise (clouds) and scatter them around, 3 and the severally severing 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are carried away as dust, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what shall teach thee what is the Day of Decision? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a known term? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 “Move towards the shadow of the smoke having three branches.” 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 Lo! it throweth up sparks like the castles, 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 'This is the Day of Decision; We have joined you with the ancients; 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
