He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (The Prophet (Peace be upon him)) frowned and turned away, 1 because the blind man approached him! 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 or receive some (Quranic) advice which would benefit him. 4 As to one who regards Himself as self-sufficient, 5 to him thou attendest 6 And you have nothing to lose if he does not become pure. 7 But as for him who cometh unto thee with earnest purpose 8 and in awe of God 9 to him thou payest no heed. 10 Not this way this is the advice. 11 So whoever wills may remember it. 12 upon pages high-honoured, 13 Exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 and angelic scribes. 16 Be cursed (the disbelieving) man! How ungrateful he is! 17 Of what substance God created him? 18 Out of a sperm-drop did He create him and then determined a measure for him, 19 Then made his passage easy (at birth); 20 and in the end He causes him to die and brings him to the grave; 21 Then, when He will, He bringeth him again to life. 22 By no means hath he fulfilled what Allah hath commanded him. 23 Then let man look to his food, 24 That We pour forth water in abundance, 25 Then split the earth in clefts 26 how We made the grain to grow, 27 And grapes and fodder, 28 and olives, and palms, 29 and dense orchards, 30 and fruits and pastures 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 Then, when there comes As-Sakhkhah (the Day of Resurrection's second blowing of Trumpet), 33 it will be such a day when a person will run away from his brother, 34 And from his mother and father, 35 And from his wife and sons. 36 Every man that day will have concern enough to make him heedless (of others). 37 Some faces will on that Day be bright with happiness, 38 laughing, rejoicing at glad tidings. 39 And other faces that Day will be dust-stained, 40 and overcast with gloom: 41 Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
