The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 When their brother Nuh said to them: Will you not guard (against evil)? 106 Verily I am unto you an apostle trusted. 107 Therefore guard against (the punishment of) Allah and obey me 108 I ask no recompense of you for it. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 109 "So fear Allah, and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said: "And what knowledge have I of what they used to do? 112 Their account is only with my Lord, if you could perceive 113 And I am not (here) to repulse believers. 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said, “O Nooh, if you do not desist you will surely be stoned.” 116 He said: "O my Lord! truly my people have rejected me. 117 Therefore judge You between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me." 118 And so We saved him and those [who were] with him in the fully-laden ark, 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
