Al-Baqarah 5 of 40

Children of Israel! remember My favour wherewith I favoured you, and fulfil My covenant, and I shall fulfil your covenant, and Me alone shall ye dread. 40 And believe in what I have sent down confirming what is with you, and do not be the first to disbelieve it. Do not sell My verses for a little price and fear Me. 41 Do not mix truth with falsehood and do not deliberately hide the truth 42 Establish your prayers, pay the obligatory charity, and bow with those who bow. 43 ۞ Do you bid other people to be pious, the while you forget your own selves - and yet you recite the divine writ? Will you not, then, use your reason?! 44 Seek help with the Salat and fortitude: no doubt, Salat is a hard task but not for those obedient servants, 45 who reckon that they will meet their Lord and that to Him they will return. 46
