Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, "This is momentous news, 67 (And) you are turning aside from it: 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 Thereupon the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together, 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 (Allah) said: "Verily! You are of those allowed respite 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "By Your Might, then I will surely mislead them all, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 Say, [O Muhammad], "I do not ask you for the Qur'an any payment, and I am not of the pretentious 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 You will certainly know its truthfulness after a certain time. 88
