Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
Ya Seen. 1 By the wise Qur'an. 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 On the Straight Path. 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have indeed put shackles around their necks reaching up to the chins, so they remain facing upwards. 8 And We have set a bar before them and a bar behind them, and (thus) have covered them so that they see not. 9 Alike it is to them whether thou hast warned them or thou hast not warned them, they do not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 Verily We! We shall quicken the dead. And We write down that which they send before and their footsteps. And everything We have counted up in a Book luminous. 12
