THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture 117 And showed them the right path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 They were two of Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 But they belied him, so they will be among the arraigned (in Hell), 127 Save single-minded slaves of Allah. 128 And We left for him among the posterity: 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
