The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
WHEN THE WORLD is shaken up by its cataclysm, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 when man asks, "What is happening to her?"; 3 on that Day it will narrate its account, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 That Day mankind will proceed in scattered groups that they may be shown their deeds. 6 Then shall anyone who has done an atom's weight of good, see it! 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
