We also favoured Moses and Aaron, 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 and succoured them, so that [in the end] it was they who achieved victory. 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 Lot was also one of the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman (his wife) who was among those who remained behind. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 And at night; do you not then understand? 138
