Verily the tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 like molten copper, bubbling in the belly 45 Like the boiling of hot water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 This is the torment that you persistently doubted". 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 In Gardens and water-springs. 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 They will call for every kind of fruit with satisfaction. 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 By the munificence of your Lord; this is the great success. 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So be watchful, they too are watching. 59
