No! By the moon 32 by the retreating night, 33 And the dawn when it shineth forth, 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 a warning to humans, 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Every soul shall be pledged for what it has earned, 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 in Gardens they will question 40 concerning the sinners, 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 And did not feed the needy, 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 and we cried lies to the Day of Doom, 46 until the Inevitable End [death] overtook us." 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing before a lion? 51 Nay, but everyone of them desireth that he should be given open pages (from Allah). 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Never so, as this is a reminder. 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 And they will not receive admonition unless Allah wills; He (Allah) is the One, deserving that mankind should be afraid of, and should be dutiful to Him, and should not take any Ilah (God) along with Him, and He is the One Who forgives (sins). 56
