The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who hath created and then proportioned, 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 And [then] makes it black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden. 7 We shall take you slowly towards ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
God the Almighty always says the truth.
