Al-Anbyaa' 4 of 7

Say: Who guards you by night and by day from the Beneficent Allah? Nay, they turn aside at the mention of their Lord. 42 Do they have some Gods who protect them from Us? Neither can they save themselves nor save their friends from Us. 43 Nay, We gave the good things of this life to these men and their fathers until the period grew long for them; See they not that We gradually reduce the land (in their control) from its outlying borders? Is it then they who will win? 44 Say: I warn you only by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned. 45 yet if even a breath of your Lord's punishment touched them, they would say, "Woe to us! We were indeed wrongdoers." 46 And We will set up a just balance on the day of resurrection, so no soul shall be dealt with unjustly in the least; and though there be the weight of a grain of mustard seed, (yet) will We bring it, and sufficient are We to take account. 47 We gave Moses and Aaron the criterion of right and wrong and a light and reminder for the righteous, 48 These who fear their Lord unseen, and who are of the Hour fearful. 49 This is a blessed Reminder that we have revealed: Will ye then reject it? 50
