Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
Ha Mim 1 The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise. 2 Behold, in the heavens as well as on earth there are indeed messages for all who [are willing to] believe. 3 and in your creation, and the crawling things He scatters abroad, there are signs for a people having sure faith, 4 and in the alternation of the night and day, in the provision Allah sends down from heaven with which the earth is revived after its death, and in the changing about of the winds, there are signs for people who understand. 5 Such are the verses of Allah. We recite them to you in truth. So in what speech, after Allah and His signs, will they believe? 6 Woe unto every sinful self-deceiver 7 who hears the signs of God being recited to him, then perseveres in waxing proud, as if he has not heard them; so give him the good tidings of a painful chastisement. 8 And when he knows anything of Our verses, he takes them in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment. 9 Gehenna (Hell) is behind them, all that they have earned shall not help them at all, nor shall those they took as guardians, other than Allah. For them there is a mighty punishment. 10 This is guidance; for those who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord the anger of the painful punishment awaits them. 11
