Al-Jaatheyah 3 of 4

Allah created the heavens and the earth in truth and that each soul shall be recompensed for what it earned, they shall not be wronged. 22 [Prophet], consider the one who has taken his own desire as a deity, whom God allows to stray in the face of knowledge, sealing his ears and heart and covering his eyes -- who can guide such a person after God [has abandoned him]? Will you not take heed? 23 And they say: there is naught but our life of the world; we die and we live, and naught destroyeth us save time. And they have no knowledge thereof; they do but guess. 24 And when Our clear revelations are recited unto them their only argument is that they say: Bring (back) our fathers. then, if ye are truthful. 25 Say thou: Allah keepeth you alive, then He shall cause you to die, then He shall assemble you on the Day of Resurrection whereof there is no doubt; but most of mankind know not. 26
