We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Similarly, no Messenger came to those before them but they said: 'Sorcerer, or mad' 52 What, have they bequeathed it one to another? Nay, but they are an insolent people. 53 Turn away from them. You will not be blamed. 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 The unjust will bear a burden like that of their unjust predecessors. Let them not make Me bring immediate punishment upon them. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
