NAY, but consider the moon! 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be a pledge for that which it hath earned, 38 save those who shall have attained to righteousness: 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 'What thrusted you into Sakar?' 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 What ails them, that they turn away from the Reminder, 49 As if they were startled donkeys – 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 In fact every one of them wants to be given open books (like the prophets). 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 but this is truly a reminder. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
