۞ And We inspired Moses, saying: Take away My slaves by night, for ye will be pursued. 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities musterers: 53 (Saying): "These (Israelites) are but a small band, 54 and indeed they are enraging us; 55 "But we are a multitude amply fore-warned." 56 Thus did We take them away from gardens and watersprings, 57 And treasures and goodly dwellings, 58 Thus (were those things taken from them) and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two groups saw each other, those with Moosa said, “They have caught us.” 61 Musa said: by no means; verily with me is my Lord; He shall guide me. 62 Then We revealed unto Musa, saying: smite thou the sea with thy staff. So it became separated, and each part was like unto a cliff mighty. 63 Then We brought near the others [Fir'aun's (Pharaoh) party] to that place. 64 and We saved Moses and all who were with him, 65 And We drowned the others. 66 In this there was certainly evidence (of the Truth), but most of them did not have any faith. 67 And yet, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace! 68
