Luqmaan (Luqmaan)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 These are revelations of the wise Scripture, 2 A guidance and a mercy for the well-doers: 3 who perform the prayer, and pay the alms, and have sure faith in the Hereafter. 4 Those are guided by their Lord and will surely prosper. 5 There are some human beings who purchase an enchanting diversion in order to lead people away from the way of Allah without having any knowledge, who hold the call to the Way of Allah to ridicule. A humiliating chastisement awaits them. 6 And when our verses are recited to him, he turns away arrogantly as if he had not heard them, as if there was in his ears deafness. So give him tidings of a painful punishment. 7 Surely those who believe, and do deeds of righteousness, there awaits them Gardens of Bliss 8 They shall abide in them forever. This is Allah's promise that shall come true. He is the Most Powerful, the Most Wise. 9 He has created the skies without any support that you could see, and has placed firm mountains upon the earth, lest it sway with you, and has caused all manner of living creatures to multiply thereon. And We sent down water from the skies, and thus We made every kind of excellent plant grow there: 10 This is the creation of Allah. So show Me what those other than Him have created. Rather, the wrongdoers are in clear error. 11
