The warnings came also to Pharaoh's folk. 41 but they belied all Our signs so We seized them with the seizing of the Mighty, Powerful. 42 What, are your unbelievers better than those? Or have you an immunity in the Scrolls? 43 Or do they say: We are a host allied together to help each other? 44 (Let them know that) this united group will soon run away in defeat. 45 Nay, but the Hour is their tryst, and the Hour is very calamitous and bitter. 46 The evil-doers are victims of error and madness. 47 The Day they will be dragged in the Fire on their faces (it will be said to them): "Taste you the touch of Hell!" 48 Lo! We have created every thing by measure. 49 And Our commandment is but one (commandment), as the twinkling of an eye. 50 And certainly We have already destroyed the likes of you, but is there anyone who will mind? 51 All their deeds are recorded in the Scrolls; 52 And every small and great thing is recorded. 53 Surely the godfearing shall dwell amid gardens and a river 54 in a sure abode, in the presence of a King Omnipotent. 55
True are the words of God the Almighty.
