Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

HAST THOU ever considered [the kind of man] who gives the lie to all moral law? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 and urges not the feeding of the needy. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 Who are heedless of their prayer; 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And withhold the necessaries of life. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
