Say: 'Journey in the land, then behold how was the end of them that cried lies.' 11 Say, "To whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and earth?" Say, "To Allah." He has decreed upon Himself mercy. He will surely assemble you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. Those who will lose themselves [that Day] do not believe. 12 ۞ And to Him belongs whatever dwells in the night and the day; and He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 13 Say, "Shall I take as my protector someone other than God, Creator of the heavens and the earth, who feeds all and is fed by none?" Say, "I have been commanded to be the first of those who submit. Do not be one of the polytheists." 14 Say: 'Surely do I fear, if I disobey my Lord, the chastisement of an awesome Day. 15 Upon him who shall be spared on that Day, He will indeed have bestowed His grace: and this will be a manifest triumph. 16 "If Allah touch thee with affliction, none can remove it but He; if He touch thee with happiness, He hath power over all things. 17 He reigns Supreme over His servants; and He is the All Wise, the All Aware. 18 Say thou: what thing is the greatest in testimony? Say thou: Allah is Witness between me and you, and this Qur'an hath been revealed unto me that I may thereby warn you and whomsoever it may reach. Would ye indeed testify that there is god together with Allah? Say thou: I testify not. Say thou: verily He is the One God, and I am quit of that which ye associate. 19 Those to whom We have given the Book know this as they know their own sons. Those who have lost their own souls refuse therefore to believe. 20
