(And recount to them the story of Moses) when Moses said to his servant: "I will journey on until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I may march on for ages." 60 But when they reached the junction of the two seas, they forgot their fish, and it took its way through the sea as in a tunnel. 61 After they had passed the place, Moses said to his young companion, "Bring us our morning meal; we have indeed been fatigued by this journey." 62 He replied, "Did you see when we were resting by the rock, that I forgot the fish? Satan made me forget it, so I did not mention it. It made its way to the sea in a miraculous way!" 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He said: Lo! thou canst not bear with me. 67 'For how can you bear patiently with that which you have never encompassed in your knowledge' 68 Musa said: thou wilt find me, if Allah will, patient, and shall not disobey thee in any affair. 69 He said: 'If you follow me, you must not question me about anything till I myself speak to you concerning it' 70
