Say thou; my Lord! if Thou wilt shew me that wherewith they are threatened. 93 My Lord! then place me not among the wrong-doing people. 94 [Pray thus] for, behold, We are most certainly able to let thee witness [the fulfillment, even in this world, of] whatever We promise them! 95 Repel evil with that which is better. We know that which they describe. 96 And say: "My Lord! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). 97 I seek your protection should they approach me." 98 (But the unbelievers will persist) until when death comes to one of them he will say: "O Lord, send me back again 99 so that I may do good works in the world I have left behind." Never! It is indeed but a meaningless word that he utters. A barrier shall stand behind such people till the Day they are raised up again. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown there will be no lineage among them that Day, nor will they ask of each other. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 and he whose scales are light -- they have lost their souls in Gehenna dwelling forever, 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they therein shall be in severe affliction. 104 “Were not My verses recited to you, so you used to deny them?” 105 They will say: "O Lord, our misery overwhelmed us, so we remained a people astray. 106 Our Lord, remove us from it, and if we were to return [to evil], we would indeed be wrongdoers." 107 He will say, "Be quiet and say nothing." 108 There was a group of my servants among you who always prayed: Lord, forgive us and grant us mercy; You are the best of those who show mercy. 109 you made a laughingstock of them and your hostility to them caused you to forget Me, and you simply kept laughing. 110 Lo! I have rewarded them this day forasmuch as they were steadfast in that they, even they, are the triumphant. 111 He will say, “How long did you stay on earth, counting by the number of years? 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: Ye tarried but a little if ye only knew. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 God is the most exalted King and the Supreme Truth. He is the only God and the Lord of the Gracious Throne. 116 And whosoever calleth, along with Allah, unto god, of whom he hath no warranty, then his reckoning is only with his Lord; verily thrive will not the infidels. 117 Say: "My Lord, forgive and have mercy. You are the best of the merciful." 118
