The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 by the strikers of fire, 2 And push home the charge in the morning, 3 Then, therewith, with their trail of dust, 4 Then penetrate to the centre of the enemy army. 5 Surely Man is ungrateful to his Lord, 6 and he himself is a witness to that, 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ But does he not know that [on the Last Day,] when all that is in the graves is raised and brought out, 9 and all that is in the hearts is made public, 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
