It is He who sends down water from the sky. From it you drink and with it trees grow on which you pasture your cattle. 10 He causes to grow for you thereby herbage, and the olives, and the palm trees, and the grapes, and of all the fruits; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who reflect. 11 He has made subject to you the Night and the Day; the sun and the moon; and the stars are in subjection by His Command: verily in this are Signs for men who are wise. 12 All that He has created for you on the earth are of different colors. In this there is evidence of the Truth for the people who take heed. 13 And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful. 14 And He has placed firm mountains on the earth lest it should move away from you, and has made rivers and tracks that you may find your way, 15 And also landmarks; and by the stars they are guided. 16 Is then He Who creates like one that creates not? Will ye not receive admonition? 17 And if ye would count the favour of Allah ye cannot reckon it. Lo! Allah is indeed Forgiving, Merciful. 18 And Allah knows what you conceal and what you disclose. 19 , As for those they call besides God, they cannot create a thing, and have themselves been created. 20 Dead (are they), not living, and they know not when they shall be raised. 21
