Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gave a little, then was grudging? 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the unseen, thus, he sees (all things)? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And of Ibrahim (Abraham) who fulfilled (or conveyed) all that (what Allah ordered him to do or convey), 37 That no soul shall bear another's burden, 38 And that man can have nothing but what he does (good or bad). 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 and that he shall then be fully recompensed, 41 and that the final end is unto thy Lord, 42 that it is He who brings laughter and tears; 43 that it is He who causes death and gives life; 44 And that He createth the pair, the male and the female. 45 From a drop of semen when emitted; 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 that He it is Who bestowed wealth and riches, 48 and that it is He alone who sustains the brightest star; 49 It is He who utterly destroyed the ancient tribes of Ad, 50 and Thamud, leaving no trace of them, 51 And the people of Nuh (Noah) aforetime, verily, they were more unjust and more rebellious and transgressing [in disobeying Allah and His Messenger Nuh (Noah)]. 52 And the subverted cities He overthrew. 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 Which of your Lord's benefits will you then dispute about? 55 This is a warning just like those of former times. 56 The approaching event has come near. 57 None besides Allah can avert it, (or advance it, or delay it). 58 Do you, perchance, find this tiding strange? 59 And will ye laugh and not weep,- 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 Prostrate yourselves before God, and worship Him alone! ۩ 62
