Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say: “This is a tiding of tremendous import 67 "From which you turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 it has only been revealed to me that I am a plain warner." 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 He said: Go forth from hence, for lo! thou art outcast, 77 And lo! My curse is on thee till the Day of Judgment. 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Answered He: "Verily, so [be it:] thou shalt be among those who are granted respite 80 till the Day of the known time' 81 He said: Then by Thy Might I will surely make them live an evil life, all, 82 except for those among them who are Your chosen servants." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 It, (the Quran), is nothing but a reminder to you from the Lord of the Universe. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
