It was We Who created man, and We know what dark suggestions his soul makes to him: for We are nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. 16 [And so,] whenever the two demands [of his nature] come face to face, contending from the right and from the left, 17 He uttereth no word but there is with him an observer ready. 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth: this is that which thou hast been shunning. 19 And the Trumpet shall be blown; that is the Day of the Threat. 20 And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness. 21 (And the driver will say:) "You were oblivious of this, so we have removed the veil, and how keen is your sight today!" 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 (The sentence will be:) "Throw, throw into Hell every contumacious Rejecter (of Allah)!- 24 who is an opponent of good, a suspicious transgressor 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ And his companion shall say: 'Our Lord, I did not make him insolent, he was far astray' 27 (It was said): “Do not remonstrate in My presence. I had warned you. 28 There is no changing of My word, nor am I unjust to My creatures." 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
