Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 and guarded them from every stoned satan. 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 Surely We know those of you who have passed before and those who will come later. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
