(Muhammad), We have revealed the Quran to you in gradual steps. 23 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]. 24 And celebrate the name of thy Lord morning and evening, 25 And part of the night, prostrate thyself to Him; and glorify Him a long night through. 26 Behold, they [who are unmindful of God] love this fleeting life, and leave behind them [all thought of] a grief-laden Day. 27 It is We Who creared them and made them firm of make. And whenever We list, We can replace them with others like unto them. 28 Verily this is an admonition; then whosoever will, may choose a way unto his Lord. 29 (The virtuous mentioned in this chapter) want only what God wants. God is All-knowing and All-wise. 30 He is Merciful to whom He will; but, for the harmdoers He has prepared for them a painful punishment. 31
