Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven splits open. 1 And the stars dispersed, 2 when the seas overflow; 3 when the graves are overturned, 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! what hath beguiled thee concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 you do so the while there are watchers over you; 10 The honourable recorders. 11 who know all that you do: 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And verily, the Fujjar (the wicked, disbelievers, sinners and evil-doers) will be in the blazing Fire (Hell), 14 They will enter it on the Day of Justice. 15 and from which they will find no escape. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no soul shall have power (to do) aught for another: For the command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
