The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 Those who fear will understand. 10 But it will be avoided by those most unfortunate ones, 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
