(Thereafter) We settled the Children of Israel in a blessed land and provided them with good things. They did not differ until knowledge was given them. Indeed, your Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection. 93 And if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou of the waverers. 94 And never be of those who deny the signs of Allah and [thus] be among the losers. 95 Verily, they against whom thy Sustainer's word [of judgment] has come true will not attain to faith 96 not even if every Sign were to come to them -- until they see the painful punishment. 97 Why then was there not a township which believed, so that its faith might have profited it, except the people of Yunus! When they believed, We removed from them the torment of humiliation in the life of the world, and We let them enjoy for a season. 98 And had your Lord willed, those on earth would have believed, all of them together. So, will you (O Muhammad SAW) then compel mankind, until they become believers. 99 No soul can believe except by the permission of Allah. Upon those who do not understand lays His punishment. 100 Say, "Look at whatever [exists] in heavens and on earth." But signs and warnings do not benefit the unbelievers. 101 Can such, then, expect anything else [to befall them] but the like of the days of [calamity which befell] those [deniers of the truth] who passed away before them? Say: "Wait, then, [for what will happen] verily, I shall wait with you!" 102 Thus do We deliver our apostles and those who believe. As a matter of duty We save the believers. 103
