Indeed this is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe; 192 the Faithful Spirit has brought it down 193 To thy heart and mind, that thou mayest admonish. 194 (a revelation) in clear Arabic language, 195 And verily, it (the Quran, and its revelation to Prophet Muhammad SAW) is (announced) in the Scriptures [i.e. the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel (Gospel)] of former people. 196 Is it not a Sign to them - (to wit, the Makkans) - that the learned men of the Children of Israel know that? 197 Had We revealed it to any of the non-Arabs, 198 who would have read it to them, they (pagans) would not have believed in it. 199 This is how We have made (the habit of) denying embedded in the hearts of the guilty. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the grievous Penalty; 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware, 202 Then they will say: "Shall we be respited?" 203 Do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them, 206 of what avail to them will be all their past enjoyments? 207 Never have We destroyed a town without sending down messengers to warn it, 208 As a reminder; and never have We been unjust. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 it is not for them, nor are they able. 211 Indeed they have been banished from the place of hearing. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 and extend kindness and affection to those of the believers who follow you. 215 And if they (thy kinsfolk) disobey thee, say: Lo! I am innocent of what they do. 216 Have trust in the Mighty, the Merciful, 217 Who seeth thee when thou standest up 218 And thy movements among those who prostrate themselves, 219 He is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They descend on every forgerer steeped in sin, 222 who readily lend ear [to every falsehood,] and most of whom lie to others as well. 223 Poets are followed by the perverse. 224 Seest thou not that they wander distracted in every valley?- 225 And that they say that which they do not do, 226 Save those that believe, and do righteous deeds, and remember God oft, and help themselves after being wronged; and those who do wrong shall surely know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
Almighty Allah's Truth.
