The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is food for the sinner. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 “Seize him, and forcibly drag him right to the blazing fire.” 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 Taste this, you are a person mighty and noble! 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 Amidst gardens and springs. 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 We shall unite them to maidens with big black and white lovely eyes. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 They will not taste death again in it, except their former death; and Allah has saved them from the punishment of fire. 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 THUS, THEN, [O Prophet,] have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own [human] tongue, so that men might take it to heart. 58 So watch, [O Muhammad]; indeed, they are watching [for your end]. 59
