Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 And what you do not see 39 That it is surely the speech brought by messenger honourable. 40 It is not poet's speech - little is it that ye believe! 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 Then cut off his aorta, 46 And not one of you would have withheld us from punishing him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 We certainly know that some among you do deny it. 49 And most surely it is a great grief to the unbelievers. 50 And lo! it is absolute truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
