Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 storming tempestuously 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what do you know, what the Day of Decision is! 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 and then follow them with the later folk? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 The living and the dead, 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 it throws spits as (high as a huge) palace, 32 as black camels. 33 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 if you have a trick, try you now to trick Me!' 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
