The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate

WHEN THE EARTH quakes with her [last] mighty quaking, 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that Day she will tell out the tidings thereof. 4 for your Lord will have revealed to it. 5 On that day men will return towards their Lord, in different groups, in order to be shown their deeds. 6 Whosoever has done even an atom's weight of good will behold it; 7 and whoso has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
