Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful

Have you seen he who belied the Recompense? 1 That is he who repulses the orphan (harshly), 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 but whose hearts are not in their prayer. 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 and prevent the utensils of assistance. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
