Say, [O Muhammad], "My Lord, if You should show me that which they are promised, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 And most surely We are well able to make you see what We threaten them with. 95 Respond to the injustice (done to you) with the better deed. We know best what they attribute to God. 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 O my Lord, I seek refuge in You lest they attend me' 98 Till, when death comes to one of them, he says, 'My Lord, return me; 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 Then when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no more relationships between them that Day, nor will one ask after another! 101 Then those whose scales are heavy, they are the successful. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 (It will be said): Were not My revelations recited unto you, and then ye used to deny them? 105 They will say: our Lord! our wretchedness overcame us, and we have been a people erring. 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He will say: "Remain condemned in it, and do not speak to Me. 108 Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.' 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 [But,] behold, today I have rewarded them for their patience in adversity: verily, it is they, they who have achieved a triumph!" 111 He will ask, "How many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He shall say, 'You have tarried but a little, did you know. 114 Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" 115 High Exalted be Allah, the King, the Truth. There is no god except He, the Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 And whosoever calls upon another god with God, whereof he has no proof, his reckoning is with his Lord; surely the unbelievers shall not prosper. 117 (Muhammad), say, "Lord, forgive me and grant me mercy; You are the best of the Merciful Ones. 118
