HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 And gave a little, then stopped (giving)? 34 Or, does he possess knowledge of the Unseen, and can therefore see? 35 Or, has he not been informed of what is in the scriptures of Musa? 36 And of Abraham who fulfilled his engagements?- 37 That no one who carries a burden bears another's load; 38 and that everyone shall have in his account only that which he worked for, 39 That his endeavours will be judged, 40 and in the end he will be repaid for it in full; 41 And that the end is only towards your Lord? 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 and that it is He who makes to die, and that makes to live, 44 and that it is He who created pairs, the male and the female, 45 From a drop of liquid, when it is added? 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 That it is He Who giveth wealth and satisfaction; 48 And that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius 49 and that He destroyed Ad, the ancient, 50 And that Thamud! He left not. 51 and that He it is Who destroyed the people of Noah before for they were much given to iniquity and transgression. 52 and the Subverted City He also overthrew, 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 About which, then, of thy Sustainer's powers canst thou [still] remain in doubt? 55 This is a (Prophet) like that of the ancient warners (Prophets). 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 There is no one to unveil it apart from God. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 Why do you laugh rather than weep? 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
